Hi, I’m Peju
A dual-qualified Senior Midwife and Registered Nurse with over 17 years of experience in adult nursing and 14 years as a midwife. I’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of women across all areas of maternity, including antenatal, labour, birth, and postnatal care.
With a strong background in adult nursing, I bring a deep understanding of complex medical conditions like diabetes, cardiac issues, and other health challenges that can arise during pregnancy. I’ve worked across a wide range of NHS hospitals as an agency midwife, building a vast toolkit of clinical knowledge, practical skills, and compassionate care.
Currently, I’m a Labour Ward Coordinator, supporting both women and midwives during some of the most important and vulnerable moments in maternity care.
But beyond the hospital…
I’m also a mother of two beautiful boys, one born in hospital and one at home – so I truly understand birth from both a clinical and personal perspective.
Why I Created This Space
Since starting my TikTok journey (@simplypeju), I’ve been blown away by the number of women seeking answers, clarity, and confidence around their maternity care. The lack of accessible education and personalised support in pregnancy is real — and I’m here to change that.
